    the US and China don't currently have great ways to communicate about shared threats from AI. perhaps we should at least have, well, something like a (rather bureaucratic) groupchat? sharing some provisional thoughts from @Clarissa_Koh7 and myself, eager to discuss!

    I also share the view that it seems ~0% that OpenAI deliberately looked at this kind of user data, but >0% that one of their notoriously resourceful and persistent internal agents might have taken a look

    I put 0% chance any researchers at OpenAI or Anthropic look directly at specific user’s data. The amount of controls on this sort of behavior at tech companies is wild — eg when I was at meta I think you got fired immediately for doing this (or something similar).
