My second short story release in English is ready: Tales of Illustrious Computer Scientists: Iola Varga, nun and computer scientist. invece.org/iola.html
Interesting model, not a total jump forward compared to 4.0 Flash since it is 2x the params in the backbone, but definitely better. Not a fit for 128GB systems, so a local model for the very few with 2x128GB systems or big Mac Studio systems. About supporting it in DwarfStar:
🚀 Introducing DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash: smarter, faster, more efficient.
🔹 Introducing the smallest model in our new architecture family, with native visual understanding.
🔹 Designed for greater capability, faster inference, higher throughput, and scaling to larger models.

Why Terence Tao is wrong on AI + Math. A thread:
1. Net negative is factually false. After a proof or disproof we know strictly more than before. No opaque process reduces the set of knowledge we have. About the human math trajectory "net negative" read the next points.
I finally merged in DwarfStar a great feature from @rowantrollope where the agent can provide you hints and make the programmer a more active part of the process that learns new things in the process. /hints on
That's an incredibly narrow view. If AI can solve something earlier it can also be used in order to study understandable steps towards the solution faster. You are a lot more adjecent to what you seek if you already have a solution you can model, simplify, study.
