The 2026-07-28 MCP spec brings its authorization model in line with real-world OAuth 2.0/OIDC practice. Dynamic Client Registration is now deprecated in favor of Client ID Metadata Documents (CIMD). Authorization servers should now return an iss parameter in the authorization
