    Always more boring than the unrecorded shit in my head. Saw them in Boston. All I remember was the D’Addario next to me saying “you’re the Replacements guy” when I asked who the bass player was Wilco was equally as boring at Central Park before @thesonicyouth did their thing

    The second Son Volt record is more of the same but who’s to say that’s a bad thing? It sure isn’t, from the first note to the last on this it is still punchy as ever. It may not capture the aggression quite as much as Trace but that’s okay. There’s some fantastic writing here

    For years, visions of Tauntauns danced in my head as we made our way between Bristol and Braintree on 24. Weetamoo died crossing the Taunton River. That’s a bummer, though. Pretty sure one of my grandfathers considered her a friend
