I don’t know if the Meta settlement funds have restrictions on allowable uses or the disbursement schedule, but a priority area of investment should be DC finally building out a youth psychiatric treatment facility. notus.org/metro/dc-meta-…

DC could receive between $90 million and $130 million from this massive Meta settlement. Not clear yet how the city will spend it, but at least half the funds will go to support youth mental health/wellness in some form. Latest for @NOTUSMetro:

White’s CoS, Sheila Bunn, returned my request for comment late last night - she said she sent the text to a friend, in her personal capacity, and that it was in no way intended to influence Sneed’s testimony or rattle her. She said she and White have not discussed his legal case.

District Court judge Contreras just told CM Trayon White’s attorney to admonish him over contacting witnesses: Prosecutors said his chief of staff texted a witness last week, with a link to a news story listing the witnesses in the case and the message: “Keeping you prayed up.”
