"AI ALL THE THINGS" isn't principled - but rejection isn't either. You can't 10x your attention - you divide that by 10. Not all code deserves your full attention, so offload the low-stakes work: save your focus for what's important. It is just a tool.

raw SQL in your frontend 🙀 electric.ax real talk: for some reason we feel better about ORM with a REST or GraphQL frontend doing +/- the same thing with row level security 🤷‍♂️ is rejection of raw SQL in frontend mostly rational or mostly just culture shock? 🤔

@github for months, I keep returning to give @GitHubCopilot another try, and it's always the same experience: it can't actually perform any task it just keeps saying "doing it now" or something to that effect, and then does nothing does it work at all, for any task, for anyone?

MiniMax M3 is a really good model for the price, really impressive results now why do they go and waste their runway on a video model? I'm sure it's "good", but who cares? video AI is not a serious tool, is it? you went from making useful tools to making silly toys for kids 🙄

why is every test of every LLM some nonsense like one-shotting a crappy GTA clone? who cares. literally no one needs that. show me LLMs implementing a spec. compare the code quality. does it trial-and-error its way through everything? compare the cost. ACTUALLY TEST THEM. 😮‍💨
