    I've written 70+ recommendation letters for students applying graduate programs in my career. This is the saddest one I have to redo. // A former undergrad student got denial of entrance with a 5-year ban, when flying to the US for PhD study. As usual, no reason was given. I

    This is a good analysis on the Stripe and OpenRouter acquisition! But I disagree with the Fortune 500 stuff at the end. Stripe has always been about capturing the wide swath of new companies, of which a few might grow to be Fortune 500s.

    The original sin was the belief (propagated by certain VCs) that money and finance weren't "enough" and blockchain technology had to expand to replace the entire internet. this made no sense and totally diluted the use case. fixing money and finance is the whole point
