@EdenFaithfull I was very intrigued by the claim in your article at americastestkitchen.com/articles/4172-… that eggplants contain capsaicin; this is plausible given their more spicy-familiar (pepper) cousin but I haven't been able to find any studies supporting this, is there a source?
