I don't really talk about the technical side of Metroidvania Maker much, but the whole game and editor run on a custom engine I wrote in C using raylib. Just wanted to give raylib a shoutout. It's been great to work with and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

I think C/C++ is more relevant today than ever. I expect a close future of new hardware explosion... and it will be coded in C/C++. In the meantime, I do my part at University and with raylib.

Got that same feeling, as a maintainer is tiring and demoralizing those "perfectly"-md issues/PRs descriptions, as if the person sending it mastered the problem/solution, not considering that there is an human behind it, reading and really trying hard to understand 😞

I'm 90% confident that 90% of all PRs are now done by AI. Maintaining an open source project just isn't the same anymore. I think AI in programming is incredibly useful, but the feeling of less and less human interaction takes away a lot of the satisfaction of open source.
