was messing around with @Hydron_sh on a pet project last week and stumbled into some peak embedded jugaad: flash the STM32 over ST-Link, debug over CDC. never would've thought of that workflow otherwise lol

we got tired of rewriting the same driver for every damn HAL. stm32. esp32-s3. avr. msp430/mspm0. teensy 4.1. rp2350. 500+ platforms are already indexed. got something obscure? upload the datasheet or schematic and it's indexed in under 80ms. @Hydron_sh figures out the HAL

missed your control loop deadline by 40µs? good luck figuring out why. priority inversion is brutal. a low priority logger grabs a mutex. a medium priority task preempts it. your high priority control loop waits. everything works. until you put the system under real load. then

sometimes we don't tend to test until we have a board in our hands, what if we mock the peripheral and not the chip? what if we mock the i2c bus while testing? patterns like this is what @hydron_sh helps you with :)
