    About the new RSA-260 record set by @penlume: The backstory is the last RSA-250 record was set by a team of academics in 2020 using CADO-NFS and took 2,700 CPU-core hours: cado-nfs.gitlabpages.inria.fr Note, "260" is decimal digits, rather than 862 bits we'd normally call it.
