Why we made Alune

Alune started with a small frustration: why does something as everyday as hand soap have to come in plastic, look cheap on the sink, and get thrown away every few weeks?

We wanted to make the opposite. A bottle beautiful enough to leave out for guests, built from glass and steel to last for years, refilled with nothing more than a tablet and water. Something kinder to your home and to the planet, without asking you to compromise on either.
