UI dates previously mixed fixed patterns and system locale formatting across lists, task deadlines, dashboards, and HTTP history. This change uses a shared formatter and adds an Appearance preference with an app-language default and four explicit date formats.
The preference persists and applies immediately. Locale resolution shares the application's English fallback, and the locale formatter is reused to avoid repeated settings reads during rendering. Math calculation formatting remains independently configured.
Validation: 75 scoped tests passed, scoped ESLint passed, and commit hooks passed. Tests cover locale fallback, saved preferences and migration, reactive format changes, and formatter reuse.
