The barista said a DJ was coming at five. By four the stage was still empty, a regional band was playing to people who came for coffee, and I was sitting there with a cold cup thinking about a pipeline I built that writes code better than I expected it to.
The ferry was full, so the weekend became coffee, boleros, and my wife across the table. Not the plan. Possibly better than the plan.
