Proxy
Spider works as a standard HTTP proxy. Set proxy.spider.cloud as your proxy address, put your API key in the username, and pass parameters in the password field. Every request goes through the same rendering pipeline and native browser as the REST API. No SDK needed.
Connection
Username carries your API key. Password carries parameters. Endpoints: HTTP :8888, HTTPS :8889, SOCKS5 :8887.
What you get
- Two pools
Residential and ISP, with automatic IP rotation and session management.
- Geo-routing 199+ countries
Per-request geo-routing with the country_code param.
- Throughput 10 GB/s peak
The ISP pool pushes up to 10 GB/s.
- Tracker blocking
Analytics scripts, ad networks and malicious domains are skipped by default.
- Any HTTP client
Works with curl, requests, axios, or anything that supports proxy config.
- Full pipeline
Same rendering and browser engine as the REST API. Compatible with Crawl, Scrape, Screenshot, Search, Links.
Pools and pricing
Set the proxy parameter to pick a pool. Use country_code to geo-route.
| Pool | Price | Multiplier | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| residential | $2.00/GB | ×2–×4 | Real-user IPs, 199+ countries, up to 1 GB/s |
| isp | $1.00/GB | ×1 | ISP-grade routing, highest throughput, up to 10 GB/s |
With zero data retention on, a self-serve account pays 2.5x the request cost after the pool multiplier, bandwidth included. Enterprise plans include zero data retention at no extra charge.
