Does anybody need any good luck charms? I know we only have a few more hours til th' end of th' day, but for us superstitious types, I think I've collected enough Brigid's crosses and acorns to ward off all th' bad luck that might have got to us today. If anybody has any good luck charms to lend to th' stockpile I have, I need all the luck I can get. The talismans and charms do add up, the more you have the more protected you'll be. Don't want anyone to get caught in some really bad karma.

I've never had to explain what karma and fate and bad juju means before. Annnnnyway, karma is like- good deeds and bad deeds. good and bad karma. The reason why Friday the 13th is bad is because bad things happen to you, and then bad things can happen to people you care about- b-but don't worry! Good luck charms protect you and the people you care about, when you wear 'em. Or hold onto 'em. That way your karma- your count of good deeds- stay high. When good luck follows you anywhere, you don't have bad luck. Bad luck is what makes your bad karma go up, which is bad.
I'm sorry, I've never had to explain this before.

Date: 2015-02-26 02:21 am (UTC)Do you want a good luck charm? I have acorns and crosses and gold coins! I used to have wolfsbane an' witch's prayers from Foxglove back home, but I make due an' I even found some oranges at the market! Those are good luck in Tibet. Mostly because Tibet doesn't have orange trees, ha.

Date: 2015-02-22 05:41 am (UTC)For days like t'day! It's Friday the 13th. The most superstitious day of 'em all.
But I already have my lucky stars, so my collection could help the people of Paradise! [He offers up an orange in one hand, gold medalion in the other.] Oranges are good luck this time of year, but gold is strong and has protected me all year long. I would give you these things to protect you!

What do you want in return?

Date: 2015-02-24 02:26 am (UTC)Really, it's nothing. Friday the 13th is a day when bad things happen to good people, usually. I don't know many bad people, but the ones I do have bad luck tailing them like a shadow. If they carried a good luck charm, less bad things would happen to them. I can't do anything about the things people choose to do, if they choose to do harm and not good. A gold coin like this can do good things for your heart, and I don't just mean a change of heart. Everyone could use a little cheering up, and good luck charms can help you feel safe and warm and fuzzy.
Doesn't that sound neat!?
