Hey guys! Just a random community for us to keep our old posts together somewhere, in case the main site is deleted. That, and we can store our "Statuses" here, or mention plot ideas for the future. Let's have fun! ^_^/

So you guys already probably know or remember that Theodore was once part of the Acidine Guard and had to attend a training school for the guard for many years before he officially became a real guard. There are lots of strict rules about the guard, of course, ??

As a side mission, we rewatched this episode from Mirai Seiki Shakespeare a few months ago and were inspired to come up with this post for these four characters! I didn't bring it up until now because I know everyone's been busy, and I didn't wanna overwhelm you because I know you didn't wanna start any new posts at that time! ( I have so many ideas, hahaha! ^^)

Anyway, the plot of this side quest would go like this:

Highwind Crew was hired by either a school rivaling the Acidine Guard school (perhaps it is one on another island?) or a company in general who wants to know the secrets of the current curriculum at the Acidine Guard school, which is STRICTLY private.

(If you remember, Theodore had to take a vow not to give away any of what he learned in the Acidine Guard, as any former guards who are found to have blabbed secret information will have their tongues cut out! >< Harsh, I know, but that's the rules of the CW community! It's also why Theodore doesn't really talk about his days in the guard.)

Since Theodore has experience as a guard and knows how to handle the school AND looks fairly younger with his height and everything, he was chosen to help guide the other three (Mullin, Mina, and Willow) through this mission. They could be doing this because the pay is very big or for other important reasons, which we can decide on, but they can also find one of the "Surface Artifacts" here in order to tie this into the main plot! (^_<)

What do you think?? If you're not sure, allow me to show you some of the scenes from the show that inspired us to try this post!!!!!

Hello everyone! I know you've been busy, but I thought you might be interested in seeing some new avatars I made for all my characters and Mullin! They're really nice, and they're a matching set, so we could probably use these on Clockwork, if you'd like. I have a program where I can cut and paste colors of the image over the letters so that they look more normal!

So I made four today!!! And if you like these, let me know, and I can make you some for your characters! I'll post Jep, Mina, and Avery's originals below to, so you can choose!!!

Final product for Ura, Willow, Theodore, and Mullin

Image Image Image Image

And it looks amazing with Clockwork's new layout!! Check it out for yourself!

Here's ones you can choose from for Jephta, Mina, and Avery!! If you do want one, let me know, and I'll remove the text for you!!! I think it would be SO cool to have matching avvies like this! The style is very befitting of Steampunk and airship crew, I think! Thought this might mean we need new signatures too, because mine definitely don't work! (>< )

What do you think??? TASTY or what!?

Since we have a few threads going now (and since I'd like to add in more), I'm gonna set up a master post list right here for all of us to refer back to! Maybe I can find some way to link back to it on the community, so we can find it more easily! (^-^)b I'm also gonna include any solo posts and they're statuses (such as if they're finished, dead, etc.)! Hope this helps!!

And if you see a thread you want to hop into, please go ahead! I think there are two right now that I might have started which have no responses! I'll try to give some details about each post below, too~

Highwind's Master Post Listing

SOLID GROUND
-- All of the Highwind Crew // Summary: In which the crew lands at Huntington Station, meets Mina, and dines together at "The Bag Lady."

SILVER SPIRES AND PURPLE FLAMES -- All of the Highwind Crew // Summary: The Highwind crew embarks on a mission to the Hypnotist's All Hallow's Eve party to procure a very rare Artifact one of their clients desires.

WHAT WE DO FOR FUN -- All of the Highwind Crew // Summary: The crew gathers together after dinner (during one of their mission lull periods) to play Mullin's Dare Game~

THE PACT OF THE SEVEN -- All of the Highwind Crew // Summary: The crew lands on a rest stop island in order to repair their ship, which is not functioning well during one of their latest transport missions. After gathering the necessary tools and presumably repairing the ship, they end up crash landing onto the Surface, where they make an amazing discovery. (After Highwind Crew with Mina have been together for a long time)

>> Side Mission <<
THE MAN ON THE BRIDGE -- Ura Forsythe & The Watchmaker // Summary: While making a visit back to his hometown during a break away from the Highwind crew, Ura comes across the mysterious, near-dead Watchmaker before he begins his murder streak. (Before Mina joins the crew)

PINT-SIZED MYSTERIES -- Willow Zylphia Eyre & Letta // Summary: While making a visit to her hometown during a break away from the Highwind crew, Willow goes to a local apothecary to pick up medical supplies for her crewmates, only to run into the odd, mechanical Letta, who she invites out to dinner. (CURRENTLY DEAD THREAD)

DRINKING ALONE IS A SIN -- Mullin Fay, Theodore E. Shooter, & Elsa Brae // Summary: After Theodore takes Mullin with him on his return to his not-so-pleasant home in the Steam District, the duo go and get drunk at the local Golden Globe Bar, where they run into Theodore's childhood frenemy, Elsa Brae.

>> Side Mission << THE TRAGEDY OF EMMETT AND ELEANOR BRANCH -- Theodore E. Shooter & Willow Zylphia Eyre (some Highwind Crew) // Summary: Theodore and Willow are asked to go on a mission to an orphanage known as The Thirteenth Hour Home for Orphans and Runaways, where they are asked to pose as orphans, gather the files of a missing child, and help the child escape from the home.

Graphics!! I know Jenny was interested in making graphics for all of us for our characters, and Alex just posted something fantasmo!

These! And I thought they might be nice:

Possible signature:

Image

I can't do this because I don't have the program, but what if we used this for our signatures, all of us? For instance, we could sort of put a highlight around whichever character the signature is for. Let's pretend Misako, in this case. We could put a highlight around her outline, then darken the other members' pictures, and somewhere over them write: Mina Cassandra Uno, then Highwind Crew : Navigator. And so on and so forth with all the other members. Jephta as Captain, Ura as Pilot, Willow as Mage & Nurse, Avery as Merchant, Mullin as Mechanic, Theodore as Mercenary. It could be really cool!

And then....

Our avatars:

We could use any of the images from HERE

What do you think??? Somehow with the smexy style of these images, I feel like they could make GREAT avatars and signatures--and if we had that signature with all the crew members together and our titles in it, no one could mistake the characters, too! (^_^)/

Let me know your thoughts!

I tried making a sample version -- it's not great, but here it is (and it shows the idea I had)! (You can click it to enlarge it--and I apologize if it's fuzzy or anything. My computer is horrible when it comes to making graphics. But I actually did it online, if you're interested how! This place is great : >> here <<

Okay, since we haven't written this down somewhere before, in order to keep track of how and when the Highwind crew members met each other, I'm setting this thread up! Let's try and establish how long they've known each other. We might also want to set up an entry on here saying when each thread takes place, since Solid Ground obviously takes place earlier when they all know each other, whereas Silver Spires and Purple Flames obviously takes place much later!

  • Mullin and Jephta became friends during their teenage years. They formed a crew together and found "Highwind" when they were both 20, perhaps at the end of the year (let's make up a year) 150 in the world of Tot. <---seriously making up stuff here!
  • Earlier the following year (year 151 in Tot), Ura joined them at age 23 as their pilot.
  • Willow joined them in the middle of the same year (year 151), at age 20. She started off as a practicing Mage passenger aboard their ship, but became a full-time crew member.
  • Avery joined Highwind at the end of the same year (year 151), when he was turning 19. He began work as their merchant crew member.
  • Theodore joined around a month or two after Avery, at age 21, as the ship mercenary.

By the time Theodore had joined Highwind, he was 21, Jephta was 21, Mullin was 21, Willow was 20, Avery was 19, Ura was 24.

Mina joins them perhaps two years later? (Year 153 in Tot?) Let's assume that by the time Silver Spires and What We Do For Fun takes place, Mina has already been with the crew at least half a year to a year. So she is probably comfortable with all the crew members by that point! (^-^) And she is a full blown crew member herself!

What do you guys think? And we can mention how they met another time or in the comments!

First off....guys, do you see the buttons at the top of this page for this community? The ones that say "Post," "Leave," and "Track?"

I recommend hitting the Track button. That way you can get a notification any time somebody makes a new post to this community. You already get the notifications when somebody replies to your comments, but this way it's nice because you don't have to keep checking back at the community to see if anything has been done. You will get an email, instead! ^^

I wanted to also mention.......what do you guys think of that main plot idea Jenny and I were talking about ( here )?

And finally....

I was thinking we could do posts that specialize certain characters at some point. That sounds stupid, hahaha, so I'll explain!

For instance, Alex's character, Mullin, was adopted into a rich family. Alex was thinking of having a side adventure/post for him, in which he comes across his real family or looks for them.

For me, I was thinking it would be fun if there was some mission where Highwind was asked to rescue a kid from an orphanage for a client. Maybe the kid doesn't belong there or it's simply just another job that they were hired for. But I thought it would be funny if Willow and Theodore were the two sent on the mission there to sneak in because out of the whole crew, they could most easily pass for kids. ^^;;;

And those are some ideas! But I think it would be fun to do this kind of post for all our characters--something that fits each of their personalities
or attitudes. And the rest of us can support the post in some way!

Sorry I didn't just mention this again in the Chatroll! But I think it disappeared last time! ^^;;; GOMEN! m(_ _)m

Well, first of all, the post for this fun event is located here!

And this post...well, it won't be as epic as the awesome chat we had on Chatroll (xD), but at least we can keep the rules and stuff nice and orderly!

We can also use this post to talk about or plot out the dares
that each member gets, if we want to! ^^

First off, here is the site where we will get all the dares!

And here are some directions for using the site, even though you guys already know what to do...I guess writing it down just helps! ^_^;;

Well, it seems we have all agreed upon having dares up to an R Rating, so make sure to check off that option when you first begin! =P

And on the page where they ask you to choose your question list, I recommend just keeping what they have checked off (that should include all the dares that you can possibly do without being a member on the site), and then continuing on!

When the game begins, click the Dare button. Your character will have to perform whatever Dare you got on your turn!

And now for some rules!!

1) Your character should definitely do the Dare they are given, unless it's ultimately too psychotic (like the sexual killing one that Jenny pointed out, LOL), or if you're really too uncomfortable to write that dare (xD). If it's that bad for you, then just skip it and do the following one you're given!

2) If the same Dare is chosen twice, you have to ignore it, hit Dare again, and do the next one you are given. (The only exception is if you receive a Dare that requires another person to draw the same Dare). Ex:

If you are the first person to get this dare, you are "The Stripper." Wait until another player gets this dare.

The second person to get this dare is "The Customer."

The Stripper must now strip in front of the Customer and give them a 5 minute, no limits lap dance.

The goal is for the Stripper to bring the Customer to orgasm with out doing so themself.

The Customer may not touch the Stripper, but the Stripper may touch the Customer any way they wish.

If the Stripper successfully makes the customer orgasm, they are immune from being chosen for any other dare until another player is the Stripper.

If the Stripper finishes or fails, they must remain nude for the rest of the game.
3) If the Dare includes something the crew cannot possibly due (such as going somewhere off the ship to complete the Dare, considering they're flying in the middle of the sky), skip it and do the following one you get!

4) If you don't do the Dare you're given, you're out of the game. (And we definitely have to find a better punishment, because I think Avery--knowing Shinjiro--would just drop out if that's the only one,
xD!)

PLAYER ORDER:

We can assign numbers to decide player order and also to decide later on who gets who for a partner. So maybe to make that simple, we can just do it in AAA order:

1- Jephta
2- Mina
3- Ura
4- Mullin
5- Avery
6- Theodore
7- Willow

So, if you receive a Dare that requires you to have a random partner, let's use the below generator to generate who your partner will be.

Generator Here!

Obviously, just input 1 as the min and 7 as the ma
x, and whatever number they give you, that's your partner for that turn! (If you get your own number, just go again!)

And, sorry if this all sounds silly, cuz I typed it up really fast! ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Buuuuuuuuuuut....what d'you think?

Hey guys! Sorry to write another entry so soon after the Surface Trip one, but Jenny actually gave me an idea with one of her comments to that post!

You know how Carina had brought up the idea of a main sort of plot we could focus on getting the crew in? Like....for instance, what is the purpose of the crew or where they are headed? Sorry if that's worded horribly! (>.<) Well, Jenny had suggested for the Surface Trip, what if the crew had gone there looking for a specific substance or rare artifact? Even if they crash, they can still search for that....But the point is, what if the main plot for the crew has to do with them looking for some kind of rare artifacts that will lead them to some sort of Atlantis under the water or in the Sky or on the Surface, or something?

Think....Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! xDDDD Like, you have to collect all the Spiritual Stones (Fire, Water, and Forest) in order to gain access to the hidden Sacred Chamber. HAHAHA! I sound like a true geeky face. :P But it might be cool if the crew came across some kind of legend about a hidden city somewhere. Maybe the legend is actually true, and it says they need to collect these certain substances or artifacts or something. I guess if it's something we really like, we could definitely work out all the little things to make it happen! (^__^) What do you think?

I think either way, the Surface trip can go ahead--everyone seems to approve! We can just consider adding this in, if we like it enough!

FINALLY!!! I actually originally intended to make this entry to share some screenshots I took from Daiji na Koto. There are quite a few that look steampunk for our characters, so I decided to share those in case you want to use them for signatures! If you want me to try making one for you, let me know, too! I'm not very good (my graphics all seem to go fuzzy ;____;), but I definitely do
n't mind! Here's the Chiaki one I just made:

Image Image

And the rest of the screencaps to use are under the cut! Well.....after all that, ENJOY!!!! (^______^)

Screens Under the Cut! ^^ )

So I think I mentioned this to you guys before, but do you remember the "scary trip to the Surface" that we planned for the crew? You probably already know this, but in Clockwork's setting, Tot and the rest of the world is mostly made up of floating islands in the sky. There are some places, though, that exist under the oceans, but there don't seem to be any places on Clockwork to make threads there...

They DO have the Surface, though! The Surface is supposed to be really really desert-like. No life exists there any more because it was destroyed by earlier civilizations who over-used their factories. (Think lots and lots of acid rain! >.<) It might be a very cool setting for that reason: there will be no other people, there might be deserted cities or locations to explore, and there's definitely going to be some kind of danger, since apparently there are also some weird creatures around there too.

This could be another mission for the crew, though maybe an unintentional one. Like the ship malfunctioned one day while they were making a delivery or something, and it result in a crash landing? What do you think? Hehe, since Theodore was in the Acidine Guard, he probably learned how to survive on there or even made a few trips there with the Guard while he was still a part of them. He could help the crew out in that way. And of course, if any other members on the roleplay site want to join in, they can too!

So again, what do you think? Porkies and beefies-type good? Or just no?
