AAA Clockwork Overall Plot + Graphics

aaa_clockworkHey guys! Sorry to write another entry so soon after the Surface Trip one, but Jenny actually gave me an idea with one of her comments to that post!
You know how Carina had brought up the idea of a main sort of plot we could focus on getting the crew in? Like....for instance, what is the purpose of the crew or where they are headed? Sorry if that's worded horribly! (>.<) Well, Jenny had suggested for the Surface Trip, what if the crew had gone there looking for a specific substance or rare artifact? Even if they crash, they can still search for that....But the point is, what if the main plot for the crew has to do with them looking for some kind of rare artifacts that will lead them to some sort of Atlantis under the water or in the Sky or on the Surface, or something?
Think....Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! xDDDD Like, you have to collect all the Spiritual Stones (Fire, Water, and Forest) in order to gain access to the hidden Sacred Chamber. HAHAHA! I sound like a true geeky face. :P But it might be cool if the crew came across some kind of legend about a hidden city somewhere. Maybe the legend is actually true, and it says they need to collect these certain substances or artifacts or something. I guess if it's something we really like, we could definitely work out all the little things to make it happen! (^__^) What do you think?
I think either way, the Surface trip can go ahead--everyone seems to approve! We can just consider adding this in, if we like it enough!
FINALLY!!! I actually originally intended to make this entry to share some screenshots I took from Daiji na Koto. There are quite a few that look steampunk for our characters, so I decided to share those in case you want to use them for signatures! If you want me to try making one for you, let me know, too! I'm not very good (my graphics all seem to go fuzzy ;____;), but I definitely don't mind! Here's the Chiaki one I just made:
And the rest of the screencaps to use are under the cut! Well.....after all that, ENJOY!!!! (^______^)

Some kind of adventure where they had to go through various tasks in order to get special artifacts.
I have another more general question! We're running two different plots right now. Nothing against that that way others can also hop in and we can also get more story done.
But for me there is some kind of 'time-problem'.
Because I don't really know when for example the Silver Spires plot is taking place.
How long does Mina know the rest of the crew now?
For me it's a little bit hard, because in one plot she hardly knows the crew and in the other one they all know each other at least for a little bit. But I don't really know how long.
It's difficult to have stories running next to each other without any timeframe at the beginning. You know... this kind of what-happened-before summary to get into it.
As for the Hypno you basically wrote about how it all came together and all. I liked that introduction a lot because it felt exciting what would lie ahead. But it also felt like there was something missing in case of the Highwind crew. You know what I mean?
Seems like it would have been better if Misako had been part of the crew from the very beginning. ^^"" just to make it easier. Well maybe we can hurry up on Solid Ground a little bit to get the real stuff started, OK?
Thanks for the screenshots! I just made a new one for Misako but I think I'm gonna snatch one from these and change it. Would be cool if we all had a signature from Daiji na koto for some time, wouldn't it? I mean, we can all have kind of... themes? So that the whole crew has the same kind of signature *___*~<3 I would also volunteer to make them so that the size and design is similar! :D but when it comes to captures I'd like to leave it to our more suited people when it comes to writing and texting, Alex & Marysa! :D

About what you were saying in the other post....Maybe the crew just comes across some legend after crashing and after they've been searching for some place to stay? I don't know how popular this idea would be with everyone, but I almost thought it would be cool if this plot happened as simply as they have to collect a bunch of certain artifacts and bring them back to some hidden chamber on the Surface. Maybe the chamber was hidden by a group of scientists many many years ago, before the Surface was destroyed. Maybe those scientists set up a contraption which held the door to the secret chamber locked until all of their valuable artifacts were brought back to the location of the chamber and placed in the exact order and places the scientists set them up many many years before. Then, if the crew does all that correctly, the mechanism in the door will spring open even after all those years, and they can get into the secret chamber those scientists hid away.
HAHAHA. What's in there afterward, I guess that will be something to figure out when the time comes, if we decide to try this out! :D Might be kinda sad in a really good writing way too, for them to uncover some hidden secrets like that.....I'm so glad you played Ocarina of Time, though! Hehehe, so the analogy works! :P

Maybe we can set it up here so that we can come back and look at it any time we need to. I can set it up as soon as possible if you'd like. Or if you want to, that's okay too! Any time we make a new thread, we can edit the post on here to include that thread!
As for what we have right now, here was what I was envisioning:
Solid Ground: maybe it took place a WHILE ago. It's when Mina first met the rest of the crew!
Silver Spires: This takes place MUCH later than Solid Ground! By this point, I think Mina has been with them for a VERY long time. They all know each other very well!!! (By the way, I was assuming that Ura wasn't as shy and flustered around her then as he is in Solid Ground. Unfortunately, he caught her in her underwear as he was passing by, so that didn't say much for his character! :P)
If you want an exact time estimate for how long she's been with the crew by Silver Spires, how about at least 9 months? Probably even closer to a year? By that point, most likely she has been with them for a very very long time! :D Maybe we can think of Solid Ground as a "history" post, something that took place a long time ago. A long while before Silver Spires. And I repeated myself, sorry! xDDDD Shall we make a chronology post on here and keep it updated?
By the way, about the screenshots....thanks so much!!! You should go ahead and use whichever ones you like, like the one you made for yourself! :( Don't worry if you don't use these, hehehe, I won't feel bad. Actually, I do feel bad about mine... >< Already they look quite bad. They got so fuzzy! ;___; But you're right about themes. That might be cool to try!!

Date: 2011-10-05 06:30 pm (UTC)The reason I hadn't included Naoya was because his outfit seemed too modern for a steampunk-type site. (The leopard print hat, for instance! xDDD) But I think it will be okay, so I can try and take some screens for him. Oddly enough, he was the only AAA member whose shots in the PV weren't easy to capture, maybe because of how he was posed, so hopefully I can get some good ones! I'll try to get more of everyone else too! ^_^
