We cultivate wellness holistically offering nutrition education, mental health supports through Family Empowerment Associates, and physical fitness programming that strengthen healthy habits from a young age.
Jumping into Wellness
At the Teen Center, health & well-being means movement, joy, and connection. Our Field Day brings youth together to celebrate fitness, friendship, and fun—all in a safe, supportive space.
Character & Leadership

Youth build character, take initiative, and develop leadership through service, mentorship, and teamwork.
Why It Matters
We foster a sense of purpose by connecting youth with mentors, service projects, and leadership opportunities. Through Keystone Club, Torch Club, and Youth of the Year, our members gain the confidence and compassion to lead with integrity at the Club and in their communities.

2025 Youth of the Year
A leader in Keystone Club, Nadayser has led service projects like holiday meals at Covenant House, earned her CPR certification, and explores healthcare careers through AtlantiCare’s YouUniversity Cohort. As a dual-enrollment student at Atlantic Cape, she continues to grow, lead, and inspire.

Team ACE at the CoT Summit
Our Teen Center leaders represented BGCAC at the 2025 Center of Transformation Summit in D.C., earning Best Overall Final Project. Through food justice advocacy, public speaking, and teamwork, they showcased what youth leadership looks like in action.
Life & Workforce Readiness

Youth become Future Ready building essential life skills and gaining hands-on experience in real career pathways.
Why It Matters
Exposure creates opportunity. From carpentry and music production to ServSafe, CPR, and OSHA 10 certifications, our youth build skills that open doors. With partners like AtlantiCare, Borgata, and Atlantic Cape Community College, we connect teens to real careers and real futures.
From Rhythm to Résumé
Teens learn the foundations of audio engineering, beat-making, recording, and digital production while practicing teamwork, communication, and project management. It’s more than making music — it’s career-connected learning that strengthens confidence, expands digital literacy, and supports Life & Workforce Readiness through a pathway grounded in industry tools and professional habits.
