Goddamn angels...
[The feed flips on and the girl in the video looks disheveled as hell. Her leather jacket is scorched and her silk blouse is half burned off, exposing the pale, flat expanse of a midriff marred with second and third-degree burns. Strangely, she's up and about, using the video function of the device as a mirror of sorts, all the while muttering further blasphemous obscenities.]
--pansy ass good-for-nothing douchebag--
[As she pans up and down, it's clear from the background that she's in some kind of abandoned building. The rest of her is relatively unscathed minus a few smears of soot and ash. She wipes a black smudge from her nose and wrinkles it, clearly less than thrilled with her appearance. After a moment, she shakes her hair out, throws her shoulders back, and nods matter-of-factly to herself.
Meg's face disappears and the view spins down to the stained concrete floor, and it's clear that she's on the move. A door slams open violently, echoing through the space. Dark skinny jeans and gray heels are visible as Meg strides out onto glistening wet pavement, and another string of curses is half-way audible before she finally mutters something remotely decipherable.]
Very funny, Clarence. The hell did you zap me to, anyway? Guess you had some juice left after all, huh?

Hey, uh. You alright there? You're looking kind of... crispy.
[ voice ]
Got in a fight with a stove and lost. I'll live. Where the hell am I?
[ voice ]
That sounds like one helluva fight.

This Meg is not the Meg he skewered -- and from the conversation with Ruby, Crowley doesn't even think Meg knows about that whole... betrayal thing.
The urge to ruin her life spikes in an instant, but he has to play this carefully, and respectfully, and play the role of -- ]

He knows, immediately, that this isn't the Meg he saw last. It's easy to tell, even for someone that doesn't know her well, and that makes his head sink a little from the initial surprise. He considers her appearance and her words for a few moments, trying to figure out when exactly she's from, and he has a general idea when he turns on the feed.]
Hello, Meg.
I didn't bring you here.

Hester, his brave and powerful sister, who always took care of him and kept him out of trouble, who saved his life during the war and he hers. Hester, who couldn't handle seeing their beloved Captain so destroyed, and Hester, who had finally had enough of the madness and chaos. Hester, who Inias had to watch die at the hands of this thing, this thing that thinks herself so close to Castiel when none of them have the right to even consider themselves such.]
Meg.
[It's said in a quiet breathy hiss.]

Angels aren't actually the cause of this. Ne, do you need to get to the clinic or something?

Well isn't that a nice change of pace?
Nah, I'm good.

Who is the pansy ass good for nothing douchebag? Sounds like a real charmer, whoever they are. And if they did that to you, they probably need to have their asses kicked, because uh, you look like you've been through ... a lot. Like pulled through a fire or something.

[Lots of demon-killing. Old truces don't apply to the soulless, especially since Dean had never been crazy about the arrangement, given that Meg is responsible for a lot of shit. And besides, Meg's bitching makes her sound a little behind the times, since Meg was pretty mellow at the end.
He doesn't bother putting emotion into his tone.]

She looks at it warily, adressing it before she even notices the girl.]
Whaddya want, huh? Shoo. Go on. Get. The fuck is it with demented animals in this place, I swear--
