Why isn't there an animal shelter here? If someone leaves and none of their friends want to take care of their pets do they just starve or get eaten by the monstrous wildlife? Because that kind of sucks.

I think I'm going to start one. It's got to be pretty easy with none of the really boring stuff that comes with doing anything in the real world, like paperwork or zoning regulations or blood sacrifices to Satan for the land use permits. So someone had better point me towards a not-terrible abandoned building or something or I'll just have to use the Dog Whisperer's house.

[Well this is... A really mundane issue, and Ruby almost just ignores it, but why not respond? It's almost nice to talk about something so trivial.]

I pretty sure the big problem you'll have there is feeding them all. There's no paperwork or zoning but there's also no grocery stores.

So? There's a weird amount of pets here already. People have to feed them something.

Well yeah, but it's a lot different for a household to feed a few pets than one person to feed ten. It's probably doable, especially if you can get people to contribute to the cause, but that's gonna be the big obstacle to your little organization.

If it's too weird I'm not taking it. It's an animal shelter not a wildlife rescue. The wildlife can rescue itself.

Technically this house is already an animal shelter.
