[ The PCD turns on with the sound of Ishtar running down a path. It was too dark to see, but she didn't want to look back. The PCD was only recording her feet as she kept running, rounding a corner and more running.

Something was chasing her but she's not making it certain what. It's dark, so very dark and Ishtar felt really cold, helpless. She kept trying to lose it, the thing following her, but it seemed to be gaining as the panic was visible with the increase of speed.

She's not a fighter and this was not going to end well. Running didn't help this time, obviously. ]

Dammit! Back off!

[ She couldn't throw the PCD, because she needed it, but Sidia wasn't going to help her get through this either. She skidded to a stop when something darker approached her. She stepped back but stopped because her path was blocked that as well ]

Shit.

I'm...S...

[ Her words were cut off by the sound of stabbing and the PCD screen Ishtar was holding bled red.

The feed cuts there. ]

[ ooc; So Ishtar got cornered and stabbed to death.... OOPS. ]

[Not her, too. Mukuro is having a terrible week, an awful day. He's already upset and angry over Zero, and now Ishtar? He doesn't pause, hurrying toward her last location. No doubt he'll only find her body, but it's something. If he's very lucky, he'll find something to kill.]

[ The body was found pretty easily, lifeless as it should be, with multiple stab wounds as somewhat being heard on the PCD. There's really no response from it, but whatever lingered there, was slowly dispersing since its task had been done. ]

[He sighs, biting back his anger, and kneels down to lift her. He can at least keep her body in a safe location until she comes back - if she comes back. Who knows, these days.]

[ At the very least, the body itself was still in tact and there weren't any missing parts. It was unfortunate, but Ishtar wouldn't be able to apologize to Mukuro for trying her best to avoid trouble. She really did try. The body was still somewhat warm, indicating the time of death was pretty recent. ]

[He picks her up, not bothering to be particularly careful. She's dead, after all. Bodies are only vessels - without the person in them, they mean nothing. But it would be very rude to leave her out to get eaten by animals.

He carries her home.]

Ishtar!

[This is no good, he has no clue where she's at — and by the time he opens his mouth to yell for her, to tell her where she's at, he can already make out the sounds of the stabbing; he's been around long enough that he can know just what happened, even as he's glancing back down at the screen in mid-run. Ishtar may hear him as she fades out into death — ]

Ishtar, talk to me! Where are you?? Ishtar!!

[Dammit.

It's too late. It's too late to do anything.

He runs a battered hand through his hair, breathing shakily.]

[ All Sam gets is the bloodied PCD statically recoding the darkness ahead. There was no response from her, indicating that she was no longer able to talk.

Sam would be followed with continuous silence when he called her name. ]
