This... this last week...
[The video had started, but people... probably wouldn't have been able to tell until his voice came. The event's been over for a few hours now, but still Jesse's shoved back in a hiding place he'd found. But after the wavering, tentative voice comes across the PCDs there's the sound of shifting, a slight break of light in the shadows, not quite enough to see, but enough for there to be some movement visible.]
That... that was the Animus, right? I mean... there's no way that was a power. I- [He sounds tense, pretty close to freaking out]
Has there ever... have people ever gotten powers back, here? That were taken away when they came in, I mean. Has that ever happened?
[There's a bit more shifting, and with a crack and a rumble, Jesse's shoving aside the piece of rubble he'd been wedged in behind, stepping into the light. He has shadows under his eyes, looks tired, his hair sticking everywhere and dirt smearing his cheeks.
But his pupils are also blown wide as he glances to the PCD, brown not even visible until he closes them, rubs them, and squints down again, the brown to black ratio back to normal.]

No. [And then, it's like the walls come down] The tooth fairy ripped all the teeth out of a guy's mouth. Someone got electrocuted to death by the joy buzzer, another girl scratched her brains out because of itching powder. Then more people got sick mixing pop rocks and soda, and... a few people's faces got stuck that way.

I have never heard of a person getting their powers back if they were taken upon arrival.
Often addressing the Animus with conviction will get one of them to reply, but be careful, and speak with respect. They are petty.
