It appears my captors have left me with some sort of communication device. How courteous. Or did you not realize I would be able to figure it out? It is an interesting piece of technology. I’ll be holding onto it permanently, if you don’t mind.

I do not know how you managed to capture me but rest assured it will not happen again. However, as I was in the middle of some very important business, I will give you a chance to walk away unscathed so long as you show me back to where I was taken from.

It's called a PCD, and it's yours to keep. The things that brought us here are called Animus, and they consider themselves the Gods of this world.

This is Adstringéndum. It's a different world than where you're from! Some scientists messed up an experiment and caused some worlds to start compressing together in addition to dragging a bunch of us here.

Every two weeks the Animus create a curse we all have to deal with, though sometimes the schedule is a little bit off. The curses can be pretty much anything from a deadly plague, to blankets that turn people into cats.

Time here is separate from time in your own world, so when you're sent back home it will be as though you never left, and you'll have no memories of this place.
