[ After numerous read-throughs of manuals and the like, Anri's (just) managed to grasp the basics of how the journal works-- it's a book, she tells herself, but it's so much more than that.
Needless to say, she's still having trouble with the dastardly book. At this point, she's made multiple attempts at the voice feature - she still doesn't have that under her thumb, unfortunately - but at the very most, her words come out as fragmented sentences (if she manages to finish the first word before it stops working with her). All frustration aside, she needs to find a way to communicate with the rest of Luceti.
So, instead, she settles for the written feature. She takes note that she'll have to ask for proper help with everything later-- but that's not as important as it is for her to make herself heard.
Or as much as you can be when you're handwriting messages. ]
My name is Sonohara Anri.
I will be staying here for now. [ A pause to scan over what she's already written. After a small nod - her own wordless approval - she continues. ] Please look after me.
[ And she finishes her succint introduction with a "thank you", and hopes for the best. She knows - or, well, sort of - that her message has been released to the general population within Luceti, but she's hoping to rope in the attention of someone she knows.
Heck, it doesn't even need to be a familiar face. A living, breathing human would be wonderful (preferably those of the sane sort-- not that Anri considers the possibility of anyone being otherwise). ]

Thank you, Lee-san.
How do you--
[Voice]

I'm sorry. I don't mean to burden you. Please don't trouble yourself for my sake, Lee-san.

[ Back to the point-- she's been meaning to ask for a little while, but.. ] How do you talk with this book?
[voice]
[ voice (sort of) ]
A-Ah..
Um.. can-- [ She's mucking around with buttons again. Excuse her for a moment. ] --me?
[ voice ]
[ voice ]
I hope I wasn't too much trouble.

But when he sees that small message in the journals? A feeling of relief and nostalgia washes over him... It's been such a long time. He knew if he held out, she'd appear again. ]
You're back!
[ written ]
But the most troubling bit is the "you're back" she receives in response. She doesn't remember ever arriving prior to this point in the first place.
A very, very long pause to mull over everything. ]
Mikado-kun?
[ Or is she supposed to go back to "Ryuugamine-kun"? Everything's so confusing and what is this and what is that-- ]
[ written ]
And she calls him by his first name. The last time... she had gone back to the last-name basis. Maybe she remembers more this time? ]
Yes!
Where are you now? I can go get you.
[ There's something welling up inside of him that he's almost entirely forgotten about. He can't quite place his finger on it, but all he knows is that it makes him very happy. Especially now that Aoba's not here... ]
[ written ]
But the problem is that-- ]
I don't know where I am.
[ It doesn't look like any place she's seen in Japan, let alone any place on the world map. No luck, Mikado, no luck. ]
There's a tall building-- [ That's as specific as she's really going to get, but she means Community Building 4. ] -- and a few trees, but I'm not sure.
[ written ]
Can you hear running water nearby? Like a river... or a fountain?
[ written ]
A river, I think. [ How can she make this easier for him? ] It's not too far away, so if it helps, I will try to wait there.
[ written > action ]
[ And he doesn't even wait for a response before flying out of his apartment to find her. Luckily, he can think of about three places off the top of his head as to where she might be. But starting first with the area by the river closest to community 7... which also happens to be even closer to community 4.
But! He doesn't know that she's there yet. So he walks slowly along the river, going downstream and yelling, ] Sonohara-san! Sonohara-san!
[ action, 1/2 ]
[ action, 2/2 ]
There's little more than a second before she turns. But then she draws a blank.
What's she supposed to say?
There's a number of things she notices about him, but change isn't entirely important. He's standing there, in front of her. He still exists on the face of the planet (thankfully). But she doesn't know how to convey the gushing feeling in her gut-- the most that shows on her face is vacancy, and a little bit of surprise. ]
Mikado-kun..?!
[ action ]
Give him a moment to catch his breath. ]
Ah, I'm so glad I found you so easily. Are you okay? Tired? You're not hurt anywhere, are you?
written.
[ yes. she actually writes out smilies. And they're adorable looking, too!! ]
[ written ]
[ The smilies are adorable, yes! But that's really off-putting for Anri, so she'll pretend that they aren't actually there. ]

If it is also not a trouble to you, where are you from, Miki-san?
[ written ]
[ written ]
Real world?
Are there fake people?

Claude-san, do you know where this place is?

Why are we here, then?

What do they do?
[voice]
[This voice is... almost disbelief, actually. It would be questioning if you could get past that. It's been a while since he hung out with Mikado and...]

Kida-kun? [ A moment to think, then some more writing. ] Do you know what is going on?
[ voice ]
[She's writing, yes, but the little picture thing is picking up a bit of her, right?]
[ written ]
What'sYes. Can you--
[ And she stops there, because she doesn't know what to ask of him. She's still very clearly bewildered. ]
[voice]
[ written ]
Not that he knows, though. ]
Safe?
I
think so, yes.
[ Lost, and a little confused-- but safe. ]
