I miss everybody! I'm in absentia because dominoes: a work project fell behind on account of the dental excitement, and the deadline, which is Tuesday, can't budge because we leave for London on Thursday (assuming, of course, that there's still a TSA and air traffic control by then). So I'm spending every waking hour muttering imprecations at my screen, because how do you publish six heavily endnoted books, this being the seventh, without learning how "ibid." is supposed to work or that a page spread in a reference is denoted by "pp." with a space before the opening page number? I won't even get on to the substantive issues with this book; let's just say this dude is a stereotype of an oblivious old white dude, capable of speaking of the European ~discovery~ of America.
