Notes: Sometimes the world is too much.
The world was too much. She had been excited earlier when her father had called only to find out that he didn't want to talk to her, only argue with her mother again about some trivial detail of their divorce. She was flunking history -- she couldn't keep all those dates straight, especially not with all the hundreds of baddies she was slaying. She could keep the teachers alive, but they never took any pity on her. Then there was all the confusion with Angel.
Buffy collapsed on her bed and cuddled Mister Gordo. Sometimes the world was just too much.
