Summary: They say out of sight is out of mind, but Andie knows better.

Out of sight does not mean out of mind. She's never been that lucky. She's known plenty of people who could forget someone once they broke their heart and took themselves out of their lives, but Andie's never been able to do so. She's tried. Goodness knows she's tried, but it didn't work with her father. It didn't work with her brother, and it's not working now with Pacey.
She pauses as she listens to Jack ramble on about Doug. She's glad her brother is finally happy, and she thinks the two make a cute couple, especially as Doug seems to treat him well, but there's really only one thing she wants to know. There's only one thing she wants in this whole world beyond her brother's happiness. "How is he?" she blurts suddenly, cutting in to Jack's tirade about how the police in Capeside are not treated fairly or even well at all.
Her brother hesitates, but Andie persists. "How is he?" she asks again. "Is he happy?"
"He... pretends to be," Jack answers at last, carefully choosing his words. Pacey is with a new woman and claims to be happy, but Jack knows better. "He still misses you."
