Meet with Aisling and Franz-Stefan from DFINITY for Enabling Privacy-Preserving Applications on the Internet Computer workshop.
In this workshop, first, Aisling gives a brief overview of the concepts of threshold key derivation that shall enable canister smart contracts to derive strong cryptographic keys, which can then be used for symmetric/asymmetric encryption/decryption and BLS signatures. Then, Franz-Stefan shows three related demos on end-end-encryption, identity-based encryption, and encrypted note storage, and also dives into the underlying source code to explain how things…
