Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - 1/6th scale Batman

(Battle Damaged Version) Collectible Figure

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Frank Miller’s comic series Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. In this classic story, an aging 55-year-old Bruce Wayne emerges from a decade of retirement to reclaim the mantle of the Dark Knight in a decaying, crime-ravaged Gotham. No longer the sleek vigilante of his youth, this brutish Batman fights with raw ferocity against street gangs, Joker, and even a government-controlled Superman, embodying an uncompromising vision of justice in a world gone mad.

The gray battle-worn Batsuit is finely tailored in elastic fabric material, complete with realistic tears and blood paint applications. A wired and weathered blue cape flows behind him, while the utility belt, forearm gauntlets, and boots all feature blood paint applications. The figure also comes with a cowl in a mask-off state that can be attached to the body with the Bruce Wayne head sculpt, allowing for the replication of the look with the cowl removed for an alternative display style. Armed for war, Batman comes equipped with four Batarangs, a rope-attached Batarang, and a rifle. The figure is completed with a specially designed display stand.

Scarred but unstoppable, this Battle-Damaged Batman figure stands as a powerful tribute to one of the most influential depictions of the Dark Knight.

Casting rumors suggest Sebastian Stan will take on the role of Harvey Dent (the district attorney who becomes the villain Two-Face in many Batman stories), while Scarlett Johansson is reportedly in talks or attached to play Dent’s wife, Gilda (though this remains unconfirmed officially by the studio).

The film is currently scheduled for theatrical release on October 1, 2027, following multiple previous delays that have shifted it from earlier dates like 2025 and 2026. This Elseworlds DC project continues to build anticipation after the success of the 2022 original and the The Penguin spinoff series.

Christina Hodson Pens Batman: The Brave and the Bold Movie

Christina Hodson, who wrote both of the DC box office bombs, Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn and The Flash, has been enlisted to write Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The film is said to be centered around Batman and Robin. This time round, Robin will be Damian Wayne, the son of Batman, who first appeared in comic books back in 1987.

The movie will reunite Hodson with director Andy Muschietti; both assumed the same positions in The Flash movie back in 2023.
