Pretentious? Moi?
I can be, I know that. But I do try not to take myself too seriously; although seriously I will readily admit I am not perfect, not any sort of expert and I have my blindspots and biases that I can only try to become/remain aware of and keep working on.
I'm (I think) relatively friendly - just, very socially anxious and shy. And lurky. I lurk a lot. Lurking is a thing I do.

Uh, yeah; my therapist told me I need to find my voice.
That should tell you a lot about this journal; I don't know what to tell you about who I am - because in a lot of ways, I don't know?

I can say this journal will contain what words I can force out. Discussion of topics such as mental health, society and the life of someone with many, many questions may appear. Also randomness from the life of an eclectic fangirl who has been dealing with a somewhat odd life and floating around online fandom since first getting onto the internet [back on dial-up]. I'm now wondering how the heck I got to middle age and spend most my time looking around in terror wondering what on earth is going on.

Beware; these are uncharted territories.
Will undoubtedly contain pretension, nonsense, words and confusion. And a terrible sense of humor.
(and run on sentences and terrible punctuation. I'm sorry, i'm working on that.)
