Bi In Northern New England is for bisexual people in the most northeastern part of the U.S., north of Boston. Population is scarce up here and we have to make our own amusement.

This is not intended to be a dating site and I would like to keep the discussions pretty much clean, if we can. That said, posts normally could be seen by members only and I've set the community 18+. I want everyone to feel comfortable, so if you can I'd like you to let people know up front if you have any sexual references in a post with a subject line like "[sexual content] blah blah".

If someone starts harassing you via private message, let me know so I can take steps.

TWO IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR PRIVACY:

Non-members CAN see who is a member of the group listed on the profile page for the group, as you can see below. This is an issue which has been brought up to the site developers and not yet addressed. So when you make your profile, create it with a nick that is easy to remember and type but also not easily associated with your real life.

Be aware that if anyone (member or not) hits the Members Posts link on the left they can see any recent public posts on personal journals by members of this group. If this is of concern you can set your posts on your own journal to 'friends only' or 'private' and other members of the group won't see them.

The default settings on the group are to members only posting/reading/commenting. (I believe that you can change on your own post if you want it visible to non-members, but I would not advise doing so because ensuing conversation would then all be public.)
