There's nothing I don't love about this show. Come on, it's got football players doing Beyonce choreography. It's got genuine, heartfelt hugs between distraught teenage boys and the fathers (and father figures) who love them. Finn broke my heart last night, and then Puck broke my heart, WTF. Mr. Bone looked at me and said, "He loves her." *swoon*
NCIS:LA: A
Callen, G. *clutches heart* LL Cool J was a SEAL, for fuck's sake, you can bet I've got that sucker in my DVR. Chris O'Donnell is finally not-pretty enough to be interesting, and I've always liked LL. I like him even more when he's all slashalicious with Chris O'Donnell. YUM. I fully expect to see backstory w/ smut by the end of the week. I figured out the case about three steps ahead of the team. Everything, that is, except why they seem to be shadowy figures in an underground safehouse rather than badged-up bureaucrats from a federal building. Did I miss something? Besides the intro eps on NCIS: Original Flavor?
Eastwick: C-
All this piece of crap made me want to do was go back and watch due South to get the taste out of my mouth. Paul Gross' snaggle tooth was the only thing appealing in the entire episode. *shudder* It's a shame, since I like all three of those actresses, and y'all know I love Paul Gross. I haven't deleted the season pass yet, but it's going to have to have a major upswing to keep me watching. Snaggletooth alone is not enough!
The only other new show I'm going to try is Trauma, which starts Monday. I know Alex O'L is on Three Rivers, but one medical show at a time is my limit, and Trauma hits all my Emergency! buttons. Someone call Johnny Gage, stat!
True Blood: Eric gets an A++++, Jason gets a B+, Lafayette gets a B, and the rest blew chunks.
Hung: B. Solid first season, appealing characters, fun. Nice to see Thomas Jane show his stuff. *eyebrow waggle*
Entourage: C. Nowhere near enough Vince, and nowhere near enough of the four boys together. Hello, entourage, not four dudes with careers who see each other now and then. HATED the Gary Cole
