crack offshoot--i wonder what vulcans would think about sporks--are they logical, because you get both fork and spoon, or illogical, because the new eating utensil is not as good as a true fork/spoon? hmmmm....)
And I went ahead and wrote a tribble / drabble about it.Un Beta'd

Sporks, Phillies and Fug Hats........

SPORK ( a tribble/drabble)

While Spock and Nyota were on shore leave, they decided to visit various Terran museums.
Today, they caught a shuttle to the beautiful city of Brotherly Love, ( Philadelphia ) and visit the world renown science exhibit museum, The Franklin Institute.
Spock has been forcibly dressed in uncomfortable Terran style clothing, that his Nyota insisted he would look quite handsome in.
Just a simple pair of long, khaki, cargo shorts, and an oddly contrasting blue and red striped polo shirt that reads "Phillies" written across the torso.
Later on , she plans on taking him to his 1st Terran baseball game, and watch the Philadelphia Phillies work there magic on the field.
Just for fun, she dressed him up for the event, so he could blend in with the other Terran boyfriends at the game.

They are in the 21st century, historically themed cafeteria, inside the museum and standing in line, waiting to be served food upon there trays.

Spock curiously holds up a 21st century archaic spork to the dull, yellow lights of the cafeteria, studying it intently.

Nyota takes note of  straw fedora upon his head, that he just purchased in the gift shop. She had commented on how ugly the hat is, and yet he still had the nerve to buy it. Normally Vulcans do not indulge themselves in irrational emotions over clothing attire. But she suspects he is trying to get her back for the Phillies polo.

She think's the hat is quite fug, yet charming.Then goes on to wonder how he would look only with no clothes, and just the hat. She giggles to herself drawing his attention.
He turns to her and comments on his new utensil / toy.

" This utensil was a novel idea, but not entirely effective since the teeth on the spork are tiny. I do not see how this could be effective in grasping most terran foods "

The Cafeteria worker behind the food counter yells grouchily

"C'mon buddy, there are other people who want to eat besides you"

He is caught off gaurd by the grainy, deep, voice that emits from the horrendously large woman.And he wonders, is that contrasting dark, facial stubble ? Which is ill matched against her bright red hair.
