☄ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: Ardyn is roughly 6'5" but a little slender for his height, with yellow-gold eyes and violet hair. Has a pair of tattoos; an abstract phoenix on his right forearm and a small sigil low on the back of his neck. Both hands bear visible scars, and if you're about to ask 'is that literal stigmata', well, you're not wrong. Often accompanied by a pigeon named Luscinia, who has galaxy-patterned feathers and a small orange ribbon around her neck.
♚ FASHION: Tends towards black and gray with very small hints of a particular light blue--notably a ribbon in his hair and a ring on his right hand. Wears his hair in a loose braid and is generally well-dressed enough, but carries a vaguely disheveled air to his appearance.
♚ DEMEANOUR: Visibly an incredibly laid-back person to the point one would be mistaken for assuming he was lazy or perpetually half-asleep, Ardyn rarely stands straight and prefer to lean on whatever might be nearby. In reality he is near-constantly on edge and alert, though he stands fully straight and when prepared for an actual fight or otherwise serious in words or action. Overall, when scrutinized closely it appears at though he actively tries to present the appearance of someone nonthreatening.
♚ SOUND: Ardyn is voiced by Darin de Paul--his tone is often casual even in situations perhaps warranting a little more concern, often veering into (playfully or otherwise) sarcastic. Following his Airlocked development, Ardyn's speech pattern is a very strange mixture of antiquated eloquence that often takes a hard left into more blunt and modern wording if he's more at ease; when not deliberately acting dramatic, he just sounds deeply tired. While he rarely if ever raises his voice beyond a normal volume, if he does it turns harsh with a lot of restrained anger behind it.
