How desperate I became

Call me Dax.

I made this account a long time ago and then never used it, other than to store some "Real Diary"-type private crap. This year I'm participating at getyourwordsout so I'll be around properly! My journal is likely to stay locked or mostly locked, so here's some info about me; you can comment if you'd like access. 

I'm twenty-seven and a freelance proofreader and editor (yes, those are different jobs). I'm finishing up a degree in sociology and social justice; don't ask me what I intend to do with that because the answer is possibly always just going to be "my best." I love words, I love people, I love stories. I'm a disabled lesbian and that's maybe-probably never going to come up here, but if you want to see my stuff, you should be respectful—preferably apathetic, if I'm honest. I'm not known for my introspection and I'd much rather talk about what I'm doing.
