— There are no challenge apps.
— Please include your characters NAME, CANON, and some variety ( RESERVED ) or ( NOT RESERVED ) in the header. Please post your application in your journal and link it here.
— If asked for revisions, you will be allowed 3 days (72 hours) for revisions. If you fail to meet this deadline without contacting a mod, it will result in an automatic decline.
— If declined, for whatever reason, we ask that you wait a month before reserving to allow someone else a shot. If there is no reserve by the next application round, feel free to submit the application again without a reserve. If declined twice in a row, we ask that you please don't app again.
— For app questions, please consult the FAQ. If your answer is not featured there, leave a comment in the FAQ, or PM a mod.

Name: Your characters full name in western order: first and last.
Canon: Please be specific. If apping from Marvel, please specify comic, universe, or movie.
Age: Your characters (approximate) age.
Timeline: What canon point are you taking them from.
Age Up?: If your character is between 13-15, and is being aged up, please outline what changes about them here. If this doesn't apply to your character, delete this section.

Background: For notable characters, a wiki link is welcome. For lesser known, rare characters, please provide the basics.

Personality: Please provide a concise peek into your characters psyches, backed with canon examples. This section does not need to be exceptionally lengthy so long as it is thorough.

Powers: Bear in mind the power limitations that have been put in place. Please include all powers, indicating which will be lessened by The Hotel. Failure to do so will result in revisions.
Do you want a power wipe? Do you want all your characters powers to be null and void? Remember that this is permanent, and they will not gain them back.
Humanization: Does your character's physical appearance or mentality change once they arrive in the hotel? Check the FAQ page to see if this applies to you, and please provide details on how they differ. If this doesn't apply to your character, delete this section.

Suitcase: Your character is provided with one suitcase that contains clothes and small valuables from home. Please list them here, and remember: no weapons, dangerous substances, or (working) outside electronics.
Surprise? Yes or no, are you okay with your character getting some sort of gag gift from The Hotel owner?
Other Notables: Anything else important?

SAMPLES

Network Sample: This is a video, voice, or text post made from the hotel-provided tablet, preferably set in game. If reusing an old network sample, please indicate previous game. Ideal length: 250 words.

Threads: Please provide links to four (4) threads wherein you have made five (5) comments or more. These threads can be action/bracket or prose, but no text spam or video/voicemail threads. The idea of linking samples is to effectively replace the third person sample, and as we already have an idea how your character would conduct themselves over the network from the network sample, these are to be face to face, in person interactions. These threads can be meme threads or game threads. We ask that they are either set in canon/slight canon divergence or in a game, but no alternate universes or smut threads.
