Some of you who know me IRL are already aware.
I have a problem.
I am a wrapping paper addict.
This might not seem like a big deal to some people. What's the problem? It's just paper.
You don't understand. It is shiny and beautiful paper that you will put lovingly around a gift for people you care about. You wrap up a little piece of you heart underneath all that paper and tape. You give a little bit of warmth to your friends and add a little bit of fun to what could be a dreary time of year.
Every time I see a section of wrapping paper (Christmas especially) I stop dead in my tracks and immediately put it in reverse to go check it out. Some years I decide I will not buy anymore. Those years I can go into a store and when I near the paper section I break into a sweat trying to hold myself back.
This is part of my Christmas collection.

It is only a portion. The other bin is missing. Lost somewhere in the attic (alas! ;__;)
Seriously you guys, there are rolls of paper nestled inside other rolls of paper.

(I, being picky and opinionated in terms of design, at least have the benefit of not liking most wrapping paper I see. That said? I always like the more expensive ones. ;_; )

Lately I find myself going one of two ways with the design: 1) asimple, elegant design, maybe green on green or red with just a touch of gold or 2) whimsical. Reindeer peeking through windows. White snowmen that could be drawn by children on a pink background. Not so much for the really busy or the "Country Christmas" designs any more.
... and then there's paper my folks bought back in the 80s that I'm still trying to get rid of.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOME OF YOUR WRAPPING PROJECTS, WALKS!!! If you get some done take a picture! Perhaps I can borrow some of your ideas. ;D
