Jay's school had there annual 5K run. Jay decided he wanted to run with his friends because he wanted to try and get the first place trophy. As he started I saw him sprint as fast as he could racing his friends and I knew he wouldn't make it too long with out dying. He ended walking a lot of it...dream crushed. I was SOOO proud of Jensen. She refused to sit in the stroller and was so excited about getting to run. She ran the ENIRE first mile while holding my hand and I was slowly jogging with the stroller. We did the first mile in 12 min. and I seriously could not believe how fast her little legs were moving and how much she loved it. at 1.5 miles I made her sit in the stroller and take a drink, but that just put her in complete melt down mode. After that I couldn't consul her and we were only able to do one loop. We went a lot farther then I thought we would make it though. Cort was a little trooper. I love that the school raises money this way.
