Answers drop off leaderboard if user is deleted

I noticed that the 3 answers to Net or not? previously showed on the automated leaderboard, but now only 2 answers show. The one that is no longer showing is still present as an answer, but the user has been deleted. It appears that posts by deleted users do not show up in the leaderboard.
Is this the desired behaviour, or should all non-deleted answers show on the leaderboard, even if the user is deleted?

All visible answers should show
Unless an answer has been deleted or is in an invalid format, it should show on the leaderboard. In the case where the user has been deleted, the leaderboard should follow the same convention as the answer and show "deleted user" as the username.
