Where: The Stores/the Kitchen.
When: morning
Who: Conan, open!
What:
[There's a note propped up on the kitchen table. It's written in English print, big and a bit awkward, but clearly legible:
Dear Toono-niisan, Connor, Constable Fraser and everyone,
Me and Ammo are going to the stores. We'll be back by lunch.
Yours,
Edogawa Conan.
Meanwhile, there is a happy dog sitting on the floor of the postal room, gnawing on the contents of a pack of jerky, while the tiny Japanese boy accompanying him is perched on a desk, frowning at the mail he's opened. Whoever was in charge of censoring the mail sent out of the base ... they really did a thorough job. There's nothing to be learned there.]

[Wait. You're here and Conan didn't even here you approach. There's a short pause while Conan reminds himself that hey, vampire parents, and continues.]
The censor, or whoever it was in charge of the post, was really strict.

I wonder if maybe you should look at these letters, then? You might be able to tell better than I can!

These are personal letters, but not a single location is identified by name, nor is there any discussion of their work. But I suspect you spotted that as well.

But if it's a secret ...

But -- it was really odd. Sophie-san and Tobo-san said something had preserved him.

You know the important surgery room? I didn't think you were allowed paint there ... but there's green and brown and all sorts of weird colours like someone spilled them all over the bed.
