[All of her brilliance, being utilized to text without looking at her phone as she pretends to dig for keys in her purse.]

[ allison's taking a quick break from her work shift when the message comes through. it buzzes in her brain and she gives a small quiet noise of surprise, color draining from her face.

the manager asks if she's okay and she tells him she's fine. she isn't, really, but she'll deal.

she wants to ask if lydia's sure, but of course lydia is sure. it's lydia. so she takes a deep breath to mentally compose herself, sending a mental text back. ]

Is he okay? Does he know I'm here?

[In the world where her writer wasn't completely confused as to what game she was doing this for... she's being sly and not letting it on that she's having a conversation with Allison while talking to Scott.]

he's fine. told him you and stiles were here. he's from before me too.

[ between everything that's been going on - scott, derek, damon and stiles leaving, learning that she was going to die, moving in with davesprite - she's been bad about keeping up with her friends. a reminder that drives home when yukari sends her a message, sounding a little concerned.

allison immediately feels bad; goes to respond to it almost as soon as she hears it. ]

Hey, Yukari... I'm sorry, I'm still here. I ended up moving because my... room mates left. A lot of people from home left.

I'm... I'm okay, I guess. I'm getting along.

[ she is better; davesprite and she admitted how they felt, but that only makes up so much for losing everyone. ]

[ Well, that definitely explains a lot. She can't help but be relieved when she gets a message back, but hearing the explanation doesn't really help reassure her at all.

But it sounded like she didn't need to be the one to be reassured right now. ]

I'm sorry to hear that. [ She knows that Satonaka, Amagi, and Kujikawa leaving doesn't really compare, especially since she only really knew Chie out of all of them, but she can kinda get that idea. ]

[ despite the short response, allison sounds sincere. losing her friends almost made her forget she still has friends, besides davesprite and the striders, in ariel. and it's bad to forget that. it's bad to forget lydia and danny, and yukari, and all of the others.

when yukari offers to come in, allison debates it for a moment before deciding it's okay. she technically has a room, but stays often in davesprite's. she can entertain yukari in the other room at least, since it has some of her things. ]

Yeah, I'd love to hang out. It'd be nice to see you again. [ she gives yukari the house number after a moment. ]

You're welcome, Allison. Sorry that I... didn't check in on you sooner though. It's really been way too long since we talked.

[ And now that she has an address, she's speeding towards it as fast as she can. ]
