1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.
Post this in your Journal to support Gay Rights! Current Mood: amused

Gwilym was a phenomenal person and an amazing friend. He was like a brother to me, and I loved him as such. He will always be loved and forever missed by all who knew him. May you rest in peace, Gwilym. I can only hope that now you and your father can be together once again.

So I came across lost.eu, and while it's kinda cheesy, it's an interesting concept (especially if you're bored like I am right now). So, if you'd be so kind, click here and sign up. Not because it's cool, but because I'm curious just how many people will sign up merely for shits and giggles (same as I did). BTW, it does not require any input from you, such as name, e-mail, etc. Simply click yes and then login with the info they give you. Like the title says, why not? That aside, how's everyone doing? President Bush, First Lady Laura and Dick Cheney were flying on Air Force One. George looked at Laura, chuckled and said, "You know, I could throw a $1,000 bill out of the window right now and make somebody very happy."
Laura shrugged her shoulders and replied, "I could throw ten $100 bills out of the window and make ten people very happy."
Cheney added, "That being the case, I could throw one hundred $10 bills out of the window and make a hundred people very happy."
Hearing their exchange, the pilot rolled his eyes and said to his co-pilot, "Such big-shots back there. Shit, I could throw all of them out of the window and make 56 million people very happy."
If you're one of those 56 million, repost this joke Current Location: my bed Current Mood: content Current Music: the melodic sounds of I-75

Dear Santa...
Dear Santa,
This year I've been busy!
Last Sunday I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points). In January I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). Last Monday on a flight to Vancouver, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). Last Thursday I stole birdfysh's purse (-30 points). In October I gave fishygal a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points).
Overall, I've been nice (252 points). For Christmas I deserve a shiny red ball!
Sincerely, CompSTH |

| » Just a quick one |
So yesterday Carlie and I went out to get a Christmas tree; seemingly an easy task, but not so down here in the south. Up in the north east, we have real trees at the tree farms. Down here, shrubs are grown. So, after two very disappointing stops, we finally end up at The Home Depot, which surpringly had awesome trees. We ended up with a gorgeous 9.5 footer, which looks awesome in our living room. I'll post pictures soon. Anyway, I should get back to work. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

| » Well it's been a while... |
So today I realized that I haven't really updated since I moved down here to Atlanta, so I suppose it's time. It's been a while ride since I left Rochester, some of it good, some of it bad, but that's the way life goes. I'll try to update on a more regular basis, and definitely in more detail than tonight's entry. Right now I'm in Florida with Carlie visiting her parents for Thanksgiving, and we're going to get headed out soon, probably to arrive back in Stockbridge around 3am. At least we'll beat the awful traffic of tomorrow. Anyways, I'll update more later. Hope everyone's doing great!!!

Well it's been forever and a day since I've updated on here, but well, that's me, random like that. Anyways, tons have happened in the past few months, the last 2 especially. I'm moving on Tuesday, so I'm totally psyched about that. I seriously can't wait! Ok well that's all for now, I'm absolutely exhausted from the past 2 nights ;-)
