When we were short staffed during the Lusania mission, we put the ATKJPs at intervals around the camp. It might not be a bad idea to circle up and double up camp perimeter defense that way now that we have the personnel to man the turrets.

[Sigh. Hanbei's staring out of his rover with real apprehension, though-- he fought Shai only once, and with Steve. They weren't very nice.]

Back in my world, we would've gotten rid of the Madu ages ago. But now that they're here, if we try throwing out Madu to lure them away, they'll just stay even longer for the easy meals.

[ They aren't nice at all, and Steve generally has little empathy for them when they're trying to take out his teammates, but he doesn't forget that the recruits are the invaders here. ]

Going to have to find some other way to deter them. [ Still no reports of anyone engaging yet. ] By the way - keep an eye out for Ivan. He attracted a small pack of Madu, asked him to find someone to help him get rid of them. [ Mostly so he doesn't make himself a big, furry target. ]

Defenses I haven't really had a hand in. We used to have a guy on our team that, uh, set up some sort of magic circles that exploded on enemy contact. They must've disappeared with him.
