Can you pick and choose what nightmares to eat? I am worried that if I will forget the faces of some if I cannot dream about them, even if those dreams turn bad. But there is a dream I could do without.

[Seriously, eating nightmares? Even with all the other unlikeliness, it sounds like kid story stuff. He still needs time before his skepticism stops eating at him, but things are strange enough that he'll at least talk about it.]

[ jack had made a decent amount of progress from being the catatonic mess he was when he'd gotten back to the rover on day 42, though he still hasn't shaken a lot of the psychosomatic effects. he still feels like his bones have the structural integrity of toothpicks on occasion, and he still have nightmares. likely always will, from time to time. meaning, his sleep has been fairly terrible. and during the day, he's been a grumpy, irritable shit, because Jack likes his sleep. he likes his sleep a lot.

previously, he would never even considering doing something like this, solely for the fact that he doesn't want anyone ever seeing his nightmares. he knows what's inside them and they're all the things he doesn't want anyone knowing about him. but he's not functioning well enough now. he's grateful that he hasn't been sent on any intense missions lately, but there's no gaurantee that won't change. Baku is, at least, a friend. And has a decent amount of trust from Jack, granted, he never really trusts anyone completely. It takes a long several minutes before he makes a decision, and he's still half convinced he shouldn't. This is extending more trust to her than he has with really anyone else outside of Hanna and d'Artagnan here. Making it over to the section her bunk is in, Jack leans a shoulder against the doorfram, hands stuffed in his pants pockets. ]

[she's noticed; her and Jack are friends, certainly, and it was hard not to notice something had been going on the past few days, but it wasn't her place to ask. Watch, sure - that was what she always did anyway, and she always kept it to herself, for the most part. Always, if it was something private. And it was hard not to notice when someone wasn't sleeping when they were supposed to, or when they were having nightmares she couldn't see.

She looks up, though, startled a little when Jack approaches - she'd been so into typing up a reply that she hadn't noticed - and that said a lot, with how comfortable she was with the people in the rover. She stares at him for a moment, before drawing her feet up and making room for him, should he want to sit]
