I know I can't be the only one who noticed that.

There was no missing it. Getting rest was like pulling teeth.
I'm fairly certain my sheets were trying to kill me.
no subject
Similarly, my shirt decided to do the same after walking about my rover.

I heard it. Not really sure what it was, but I heard it.

I'm also unsure of it's source, but am not too leery of venturing outside my rover right now. No one wants to be hit by lighting, presumably.

Of course not. Do you think we're all deaf or something?
That was quite a storm!
no subject
No, I only know of one or two of our crew who are.
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
I just found it strange that everyone was keeping silent on the subject! But I would agree... it was quite unusual.

Of course not. A general question: have there been explanations yet.
no subject
As far as I know, no. I'm hoping that someone who does know more will respond, since the past few hours have been quite alarming.

Suffice to say, I'm not sure it's a great idea to be wandering around outside at the moment.
FROM: benjamin.jonathan@cdc.org
Any word on what it was?
no subject
I would tend to agree. But so far the mystery has been unexplained.
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
I would advise to keep yourself alert just in case.

Hard to miss something that loud. It sounded close.
no subject
Very close. Are storms of that intensity common here?

Unless the rest of us are deaf and blind, I'd say that's unlikely.
FROM: sturmhond@cdc.org
It would be best to stay indoors. Just in case there's a residual effect.
no subject
Yes, I agree. There is no guarantee that it's over, either.
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
Any thoughts as to what caused it?

I looked outside. It seems like the lightning was striking in only one place. Maybe the statue is a lightning rod.
FROM: takenaka.hanbei@cdc.org
But it's not a very good one, because now I can't even touch my compass without getting shocked! How troublesome.
no subject
Ah, do be careful. A good deal of us have been experiencing static shock as a result of the storm.
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
But you saw it striking the statue?

the wolves are out there

I heard them before the storm began, but I haven't had the ah... pleasure of encountering them before.
FROM: wurstel.ferdinand@cdc.org
Are they truly dangerous?
