Day 55 | Hour 8:00
CALLING: CHIDORI, KANAME
All right, recruits! Today is the day we finally get off this frozen hell! I'm sure you all want to leave as much as I do, so make sure to cooperate and we'll make it to that comfy ship without a hitch. As I'm sure you've all noticed, if you haven't been slacking off and hiding in your Rovers, that the weather and gravity have been acting up. Even though everything should run smoothly keep an eye out. In case things do go south our instructors have provided us with a few items to help us out. I've attached a file with the listed items and their uses for your convenience.
Finally I intend to get everyone off of this godforsaken planet, even if I have to drag every last one of you. But like hell is it a breach of my contract if you decide to put up too much of a fight, and stay on this death glacier. Stay if you really want to, but if you're leaving with us get your ass in gear. We're moving out.

1 BOTTLE CLEAR NAIL POLISH
■ FUNCTION: This nail polish actually doubles as a sealant. Add fire/heat it up and it’ll seal anything completely air-dry. Leaves a cool clear finish when done.
1 PORTABLE FORCE FIELD GENERATOR (generates only up to a 5-foot radius, requires charging)
■ FUNCTION: These things can become a transformer. Hook a number of these together and you can build a layered barrier. Each hook-up squares the coverage.
1 50G TIN OF MINTS
■ FUNCTION: These mints will keep your temperature level. If anything malfunctions and we have a widespread fire that's when they'll come in handy.
1 PAIR ELECTRICAL SAFETY GLOVES & INDUSTRIAL FACEMASKS
■ FUNCTION: The electrical safety gloves will help make any repairs easier in case of equipment short circuiting.

A sealant? That makes more sense than getting nail polish
[ He still doesn't understand what it's doing in a Red's long range observation kit. It doesn't exactly match with everything else in there. ]
no subject
You say that like normal nail polish can't be useful.
no subject
Um, to protect nails?
[ He can be creative, but he doesn't work with nail polish normally so is unaware of its various household applications. ]

Glad to hear you plan to be on the ship with us. Maybe we can throw a success party when we're done.
no subject
I can get behind that, as long as we don't have to dress in formal wear again.

Don't electrical gloves usually make electrical equipment repair easier? And safer?
no subject
Not everything can have special secret powers, I guess.
no subject
True and they shouldn't have come to any unfortunate use other than actual use.

Well said, Kaname. Are you ready to move?
no subject
Only if we can fast forward to the being on the ship part.
no subject
Now, where would be the fun in that?
[ Feel free to hit him for that later, when everything goes wrong. ]

I’ll be out with the rovers, on Korol. I want to get the first group out as soon as possible.

They could have told us what all of this did when they first gave them to us.
no subject
That would be making things too easy. Or maybe that's what they thought.
no subject
They should want it to be easy. It's not like most of us have ever destroyed a planet before, we could have planned things out properly instead of thinking we were carrying useless junk around.
[She'd thrown the nail polish in a corner and not bothered looking at it again.]
