eh generally its complexity. magics like, something you manipulate like an element. sorcery is tampering with a dimension.

ok better phrasing. so it's not just that. i might do better calling it magecraft rather than magic.

im getting a little tired of writing this all down. think of magic like carpentry and sorcery as the textbook definition of what you think of when you imagine magic.

magic makes the chair with wood and your own two hands. sorcery just makes the chair out of nothing.
