[ There is a scuffling sound, like as if a blackglass is changing hands and muttering can be heard. Anyone with keen ears may be able to pick out the voices of Anders, Hope and Adrien muttering about who was going to start.

This goes on for a few seconds before Anders’s voice can be heard. ]

Hi. [He sounds exasperated, to start, but then he just sounds tired.] It's been a long few days. We'll try not to talk any longer than we have to. But we need to be prepared for whatever might come next, and that includes making sure Medical can provide whatever help that's needed.

You're all busy, I know. But this is as much for you as it is for anyone else.

[ A moment passes where the blackglass changes hands and Hope speaks up, sounding just as tired but still polite with his words. ]

The most important help we can offer is keeping everyone in good health and on their feet.

Despite how hard these last few days have been, we still have people in Medical working around the clock so if you've been hurt and need help? Come and see us. You're not helping anyone including yourself by waiting around for an infection.

[ There is a pause (possibly some pointed glaring from Anders and Hope) for Adrien to stop being difficult and talk on his own damn Blackglass. Like the two before him, he sounds tired but also determined. ]

Another thing we need to ask about, supplies. We’ve gone through a lot of inventory since we landed on Macha and rather than risk getting into a situation where we run out, we’re working to restock what we can now.

But we need your help.

If anybody has extra bedsheets or linens that can be made into bandages, any extra nanites you don’t anticipate using, suture kits or anything you can think of that could help, we’d appreciate it. Also anyone who has magical abilities, if they’re healing or they can help conjure some of the supplies I just listed, we’d like to talk with you as well.

TO: MEDICAL SQUAD ( Squad + Probation + Trainees )

[ This time it would seem that Adrien’s gotten over his public speaking shyness and he jumps right into the mix. ]

While we hope you’ve all had a chance to get some rest, I’m afraid we need to get back to work.

Mothership has indicated that we won’t be getting new medical supplies anytime soon. This means we need to start harvesting and preparing native flora into medicinal uses.

We need help gathering flora and preparing them as well as help collecting, inventorying and then putting away any other supplies we might get from the rest of the crew.

[What comes next sounds more like Anders has leaned closer to the Blackglass, rather than taking it for himself:] If you have questions about what to look for and how to use it, you can ask me or anyone else on the squad who has experience with herbalism.

[ Oh hey, here's Hope again as his own voice begins at a distance before leaning in as well. ]

And if you can't find someone right away? Make use of your blackglass and bestiary for the local flora. None of us want to see you accidentally poisoning yourself.
