DAY 121 (sometime after Armada's post!)
FROM: laufeyson.loki@cdc.org
FILTERED TO: Red Team
As you've noticed, we've all gained +1 blank message from Dagger. If you responded to it, a reply seemingly automatic may have arrived in your inbox.
If you were like me and thought it utterly creepy-like, you may have even contacted someone about it.
Most importantly—relish the moment, I'm being terribly serious here—we have been told that Dagger is fine by the captain herself. We don't need to worry about his well-being at this time.
Less importantly, but still highly importantly! I believe it would be wise for us to take a headcount of our unit. If you cannot get ahold of your best buddy, please speak up.
Thirdly, and still fairly importantly, while our boss may be away, finding information and discussing it is important. I'll go first!
While none have yet seen him in person, his locator shows him as... everywhere! I can't figure out how it's doing it, but if there's a glitch that may explain his terrible texting.
Soooo if you have any findings or thoughts, it's sharing time! :-)

I believe that it is possible there is a glitch. November and I found little when we went to search for him.
FROM: brooksjr.barnaby@cdc.org
We should certainly take a headcount before we move out.

Seconding that a glitch may be possible. Other possibilities... well, perhaps another time.
FROM: 11.november@cdc.org
A headcount is a good start. Keeping calm and packing up are first priority afterwards. Seems we'll be moving soon.

I'm going to miss this camp! Do you think our next one will get such a good view? Maybe an extra few days without something trying to attack it?

Only news I've received is that Dagger's status isn't our concern, and we're to be organized on our own. Seems like more than a camp move, and wouldn't that have been more appropriate after the stampede and earthquakes?
FROM: benjamin.jonathan@cdc.org
Either way, it doesn't seem like we're going to be having the luxury of answers in the near future. As for packing, what equipment are we responsible for? For Bahari, Sturmhond generally volunteers his ET - the younger Beserkers and Trackers should fit in rovers fine.
FROM: benjamin.jonathan@cdc.org
KNIFE; a sound-off would be appreciated. We have a few formers of the unit now on Grey that could probably benefit from some rover space to stow supplies/equipment, and Armada's okay'd us to go about sharing and caring, etc.
no subject
Isn't it our concern? I would say the opposite, with all due respect.

I got into contact with Mothership, but the only thing she told me was to be ready. And, well. I think Armada already got that message out to everyone.
FROM: jacobs.shinobu@cdc.org
Let's just all make it in one piece, huh? It'd be bad if we disappointed Dagger again.
Kalis will be set to go.

Dagger might very well be fine, by the captain's definition. Not sure it necessarily matches ours, though.
[If what she's hearing is true, Dagger might be exactly where - and how - Gliese wants him]
FROM: cissnei@cdc.org
In the meantime, should we temporarily assign newer recruits to particular units? No doubt they'll get shuffled eventually but right now I think it's important everyone has a group they belong to and unit leads to look to.
text the first: the public one
Or let them choose a unit to move with, so long as we have them assigned to a set of leads to be responsible for making sure they're accounted for and don't get left behind.

text the second: the inboxed one
If Dagger's screwed, there's nothing we can do for him that the captain can't. We only have Corvo and Barnes, but we ought to check on the ones that were Greyed, as well, that aren't on the Red filter.
FROM: benjamin.jonathan@cdc.org
I can take Juuzou, he's been by my rover a few times. You take April?

warriorhead said they weren't having much luck finding him either but also said he might be occupied
FROM: walker.abigail@cdc.org
idk what that means or what it might mean but lets not get on the captain's bad side, yeah?
FROM: walker.abigail@cdc.org
either way, we gotta get us and ours off this shit hole of a rock with or without our icy leader
no subject
Occupied is the most ominous idea yet! He could be imprisoned in the bathroom with a nasty case of the poops! Or perhaps he's stuck frozen to the top of a rover somewhere!

funny that the leader of the team in charge of internal threats is the first one to suffer from one
FROM: parker.peter@cdc.org
or at least we can assume since he's now untrackable and cut off from all contact. maybe he's cut loose of the system on his own?
no subject
it's not that he's untrackable he's just not in one place
and i dont think he'll cut loose out of here on his own. i hate being paranoid right now [why would you do that to the guy in charge of internal threats. wesley has a few hundred theories. none of them good.]
either way dont fall behind u better be there when we board

Attention all Reds; assume appropriate breaks where needed
I'm making this a specific request now. In light of the current situation, having Reds without a unit seems inadvisable and so, on a temporary basis, the following recruits need a unit assignment:
» M02-B25-657 - FENRIS
» M02-B25-028 - ROMANOFF, NATASHA
» M02-B25-639 - LUST
» M02-B25-909 - NOVAK, HOLLAND
» M02-B25-714 - COLLINS, CHASE
» M02-B25-367 - MASON, JOHANNA
If those on the list have a preference for who they'd like to work with, that's fine. If you'd rather leave it to the leads, that's okay too. What's important is that no-one is left without someone to look out for them and until we know what's going to happen, it's on us to organise ourselves. I'll keep track of things for the time being and finalise the list once everyone's accounted for.
Also, while they're not officially our concern, if anyone does want to check in with anyone who was on Red but is now on Grey, now would be a good time. We probably shouldn't give too much away about what's going on right now but that doesn't mean we can't make sure they're doing okay.
Thank you in advance. And if any of you guys need anything - whichever unit - I'm around.
[ooc: For leads wanting to claim particular individuals rather than leaving the choice to them, please make sure you get the ooc okay from the character's player beforehand!]
Junior recruit units: PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO
SUBJECT: Temporary assignments
As per discussion, temporary unit assignments for junior recruits are as follows:
Knife
» M02-B25-714 - COLLINS, CHASE
Kukri
» M02-B25-909 - NOVAK, HOLLAND
Thank you once again for your cooperation.
[ooc: This will ICly be sent out once everyone's been given a unit.]

I'll go. Last we spoke, Dagger told me a poop joke. Who wants to hear it? :)

When's the last time you spoke with him? I tried checking up on him early Day 120, but I got the same message he was sending out to everyone today.
FROM: jacobs.shinobu@cdc.org
I didn't think of it much then, since I thought he just got tired of people likely bitching about his message, or something.

I'm hesitant to believe everything the captain and other instructors say about this. They could just be trying to keep us calm and out of the way.
That having been said... I don't think we can really afford to do anything other than what they say.
[The punishment of a few days' past is still heavy in his mind, and this is a similarly dire situation. Dagger liked to be a few steps ahead of everyone else, and he liked to let others know. Everything about this was abnormal and worrying.]
FROM: kaneki.ken@cdc.org
For now, let's focus on getting everything ready to go. If anyone needs help moving anything, let me know.
no subject
Possibly. Either way, I don't think it's a bad idea to remain calm—panicking would make us look terrible.
